CareFest 2023 was a groundbreaking convening that brought together the growing care movement to mark our progress, project our power, and set the stage for care to be a national priority in 2024.
We brought together leaders in entertainment, philanthropy, business, and government together with care advocates from across the country to collaborate on what the future of care looks like. CareFest made clear: care connects us all. CareFest was not just an event. It was an intentional space to exchange ideas, strategies, and opportunities – all designed to elevate care as a shared priority and responsibility.
Our sessions enabled care advocates from across the country to delve deep into pressing issues related to care, explore intersectionality, and address crucial next steps.
From tracks on philanthropy and business to policy, research, and storytelling, panelists showed that cross-sector collaboration will be key to securing a better future for care.
We honored Chris Punsalan, Raena Boston, Imani Barbarin, and Jessica Guthrie for their work increasing the visibility of care, caregiving, and disability on social media.
In recognition of the National Family Caregivers Month, we brought together diverse leaders and individuals from across the movement to make care one of the defining public issues of our time.
