    Care for all.

Care isn't care unless it works for everyone. Inclusive care is quality, accessible, and affordable care for all people, regardless of race, class, gender, ability, sexuality, religion, nationality, and generation.

We need a reliable and accessible care system in the U.S. that meets the needs of a diverse population with many different lived experiences.

At Caring Across Generations we are committed to building an inclusive movement for care that includes all voices, backgrounds, identities, and political views. We are a multi-racial, multi-generational campaign that seeks to build a majoritarian movement for a strong, equitable care infrastructure, and a culture that values care and caregiving.

The lack of reliable and real care systems affects everyone differently. That’s why Caring Across Generations is committed to finding intersectional solutions to our care challenges that center those who are most impacted: because if we can solve for the needs of those most harmed by our broken care systems, we will create new systems that truly work for us all.

We believe that this work can and should be done with and for everyone, but that work looks different in different communities and contexts. As organizers, communicators, campaigners, and cultural strategists, we meet people where they are and attempt to bring them in, and work with them around their understanding of our goals as we seek to understand theirs.

Equity is about creating material change in the lives of people who have borne the brunt of systemic inequity in our care economy. For us, this includes ensuring that any solutions we work on concretely address the unique needs of Black caregivers. Black caregivers and care recipients, disabled people, and other communities who aren’t served by the current system.

While we’re changing how this country views and values care, we’re modeling the values that will help achieve — and sustain — that same culture of care to enable every person to live, work, and age with dignity. By improving our internal processes to honor what our employees need when it comes to care, we can model one aspect of the change this country needs.

    Our Values

    Our Commitments

In our policy solutions, our organizing, our partnerships, and our leadership development programs, Caring Across does our best to focus on the caregivers and care recipients who have been most harmed by historical injustices in the U.S., including the denial of care infrastructure in this country.

Removing barriers like credentialing, finding new ways to recruit, and a compassionate interview process, we ensure equal access to opportunities at Caring Across.

We offer a flexible work schedule for our remote team as well as generous paid time off, several types of paid leave, and two scheduled office breaks — summer and winter.

Not only does Caring Across pay 100% of the costs of medical, dental, vision, life and short-term disability insurance, we also offer wellness benefits and a prepaid card towards our staff’s annual insurance deductible.
