Care Can’t Wait is a national coalition, led by Caring Across and made up of dozens of partner organizations, building toward federal investments in aging and disability care, child care, paid leave and good jobs for care workers.

The coalition was founded in 2020, in response to dire conditions faced by caregivers and care recipients during the pandemic, to activate people, build power and to urge Congress to create a strong and equitable care infrastructure
As part of Care Can’t Wait, care activists are pushing for real investments in care that will lift our economy and our families and will create and sustain good care jobs.
The Care Network is a national community of state and local partners working to strengthen care infrastructure across the country. Across the country, groups are organizing to strengthen care in their communities, from childcare and aging services to disability support and paid leave.
